ACADEMIC SUPPORT
SETSS / SEIT
At Mighty Minds & Muscles, we noticed that many children benefit from extra learning support, in addition to or instead of, formal occupational therapy. To meet this need, we created a small team of academic coaches who work with students of all ages. Our coaches are more than tutors, they are trained to weave sensory strategies and executive function skills into learning to help each child thrive.

Our team includes Master’s level special education teachers and highly trained graduate students who work hand-in-hand with our occupational therapists. Together, we create a personalized plan that supports the whole child, whether sessions take place at our learning center or in your home. Coaches can also assist with in-home Cellfield and Tomatis® programs.

Our practice is carefully monitored by our team and our Clinical Director who remains closely involved through regular communication, home visits, and planning meetings. Our coaches collaborate on and observe OT sessions to better understand each student’s learning profile and help apply therapy strategies during study time. We love involving students in setting their own goals and finding what motivates them most.

Our academic coaches are dedicated, high achieving college or post-grad students with strong experience and a passion for helping children learn and grow. Formal SETSS/SEIT services are also available through ‘Enhanced Rate’ and Case Hearing Compensatory contracts, or as private pay options.

- Foreign Languages (as applicable) - Life skills - Self-organization - Early pre-academic skills
*On top of being offered remotely, we offer support during the summer and homeschooling to prevent/address regressions that occur during this time (individualized programs with OT support)
